ESD Swivel chair EPAchair® CLASSIC Ergonomic

The ESD swivel chair CLASSIC Ergonomic, developed by EPAchair® and produced by DPV, is specifically designed for use at electronics workstations. This model ensures a safe working environment in electrostatic protected areas due to its ESD suitability according to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The backrest and seat shell of the chair are conductive, as are the highly durable upholstery made of certified polyurethane foam and the safety double casters for hard floors.
The chair offers a variety of ergonomic adjustment options: The backrest is adjustable in height (40 cm) and tilt, supporting a dynamic sitting posture through the permanent contact backrest. The seat area (47 x 44 cm) can be adjusted in height from 43 to 55 cm and the tilt can also be individually adjusted, allowing optimal adaptation to the user's body size and weight.
Without armrests and equipped with a polished aluminum base, the CLASSIC Ergonomic is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The cover is available in fabric or artificial leather, both variants are durable and conductive. This swivel chair not only offers high quality components but also an excellent value for money, making it an ideal all-rounder for technical workplaces.

ESD suitability of the CLASSIC Ergonomic ESD swivel chair from EPAchair

The CLASSIC Ergonomic has a dissipative back shell and seat shell. The upholstery and castors are also dissipative. It also has an ESD marking and is ESD-compliant in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1 and is suitable for use in electrostatically protected areas.

Durable upholstery and covers

The durable upholstery made of certified polyurethane foam with a density of up to 34 kg/m3 is characterized by its dimensional stability.

Fabric is highly durable, breathable and conductive.

Synthetic leather is particularly hard-wearing, wipeable and resistant to oil.

 

Ergonomic workplace

An ergonomic workplace design is of crucial importance for ESD workstations. It promotes the health and well-being of employees and makes them feel safe when seated. Thanks to optimum back support, employees can concentrate fully on their precise work on electronic components - for greater efficiency and satisfaction in the workplace.

1. Asynchronous technology

The angle of inclination of the backrest and seat can be adjusted independently of each other so that the desired sitting posture can be set individually. The chair supports active and dynamic sitting by alternating between an upright and reclined posture.

2. Adjustable backrest

The height of the backrest can be adjusted to suit the user's height. This ensures optimum support for the back, especially in the lumbar region. This ensures that the back is always optimally supported.

3. Adjustable seat height

The seat height can be adjusted to suit individual body height, ensuring an ergonomic sitting posture.

4. Adjustable seat tilt

The tilt of the seat can be adjusted to suit different requirements. This promotes an ergonomic posture when working in a slightly raised position and leaning forwards.

5. Weight regulation

The seat tilt pressure can be individually adjusted to the body weight, enabling a dynamic sitting posture. The adjustment is made simply using a rotary knob.

5. Permanent contact backrest

The permanent contact backrest enables permanent contact between the backrest and back, even when the sitting position changes frequently. This means that the back is always optimally supported.
