Covering material

Covering materials such as solder masks and polyimide adhesive tapes protect defined areas of PCBs during thermal processes. Solder masks prevent unwanted wetting with solder and support the exact positioning of components. Polyimide adhesive tapes are characterized by high temperature resistance and are suitable for temporary covers during soldering and reflow processes. The targeted use of these materials contributes to process reliability and consistent product quality in electronics production.
