The ESD-capable Backrest Reinraum Basic by bimos is specifically designed for use in cleanrooms and offers optimal conditions for demanding environments through its high-quality fabrication and choice of materials. The high-gloss polished base made of die-cast aluminum is equipped with conductive casters or gliders for hard floors, which facilitates mobility on various surfaces. The cover made of tear-resistant and slip-resistant black Skai ESD synthetic leather ensures a secure grip, even with smooth cleanroom clothing.The backrest is not conductive as standard, but can be upgraded with a conductive outer shell at an additional cost to meet the requirements of specific cleanroom classes. It meets the air purity class 1 according to US Fed. Std. 209E and class 3 according to EN ISO 14644-1. It is also GS-certified and complies with the standard DIN 68877 as well as DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The backrest with a height of 43 cm and the permanent contact backrest support ergonomic sitting. The discharge resistance is 10^6 Ω, highlighting its suitability for sensitive electronic work environments.
