ESD Safety shoe Street Sid
The ESD safety shoe Street Sid by BAAK combines the highest safety standards with modern comfort and design. This low shoe is available in black and covers sizes 35 to 48. It meets the standard DIN EN ISO 20345:2024 S1PS CI FO HRO SR ESD and is approved according to DGUV Rule 112-191 for orthopedic insoles.Equipped with the BOA® Fit System, the shoe allows for quick and individual adjustment. The Composite-Flex cap and Neoshield penetration protection offer optimal protection, while the Highrebound/Rubber sole provides excellent slip resistance and cushioning. The stretchable Hallux knit shaft and the breathable textile lining ensure high wearing comfort, even during long periods of use. The Baak Softstep+ insole is replaceable and provides additional foot support.
The shoe weighs 510 g in size 42 and is unisex. Other features include the antistatic and ESD-suitable design, shock absorption, fuel and oil resistance, and slip resistance (SR). The Baak go&relax system adds to the comfort and makes the shoe airport friendly.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1PS
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.

Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.

BAAK NeoShield introduces a new, 100% recycled puncture-resistant insert that is just 3.8 mm thick and half the weight of conventional textile materials. In safety tests, the material significantly exceeds required standards, thereby offering extremely reliable protection. Beyond safety, the focus is on comfort: the material is considerably softer and more flexible, making the sole more adaptable and optimizing cushioning. Another major advantage is its excellent moisture management, as the insoles can absorb over 150 ml of water.
