The ESD safety shoe uvex 1 G2 Planet by Uvex is an excellent solution for work environments that require both safety and comfort. This low shoe, available in sizes 35 to 52 and in the colors blue, green, and black, combines functionality with sustainable manufacturing by using 25% recycled materials. The textile upper provides breathability and is specifically suitable for those allergic to chrome, as it contains no silicones in the sole materials.The TPU outsole ensures oil and gasoline resistance as well as excellent slip resistance (SRC), significantly increasing workplace safety. Additionally, the shoe features a plastic toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard, meeting the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1. For added comfort, there is a replaceable, cushioning comfort insole that is also suitable for orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191.
An elastic band makes it easier to put on and take off, while a TPU toe cap provides additional protection. Weighing 519 g in size 42 and with a standard width of 11, this unisex shoe combines safety, functionality, and modern design, ideal for various applications.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
