Dissipative air bubble film 400 mm x 100 m three-layered

The three-layer, conductive bubble wrap from EPApack offers an effective protection solution for sensitive electronic components. With a width of 400 mm and a roll length of 100 m, each roll covers 40 m² of high-quality, pink polyethylene, which is fully recyclable and consists of 5% recycled material. The film is characterized by its smooth exterior and interior and is dissipative according to the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. The surface resistance is between 10^10 and 10^11 ohms, and the discharge time is a maximum of 2 seconds. Additionally, the product is free of amines and printed with the recycling symbol LDPE 4. The bubbles of the film have a diameter of 10 mm and a height of 4 mm. For optimal durability of up to three years, storage should be under conditions of over 20% humidity and at temperatures between 10 and 25 °C, protected from UV radiation.

 

Note on ESD measurement:

To obtain a reliable measurement result, the resistance measurement should be carried out without trapped air. Without air cushioning, the necessary contact area of the electrodes on the material is provided, which delivers a precise measurement result. Measurements with an air gap can lead to deviating values.
