PC-120 ESD polycarbonate plates 2000 x 1200 x 5 mm

The PC-120 ESD polycarbonate sheets measuring 2000x1200x5 mm offer an efficient solution for applications requiring permanent electrostatic discharge. These sheets are coated according to DIN EN 61340-5-1, which reliably dissipates electrostatic charges and shows surface resistances between 10^5 and 10^8 Ohm. The transparent sheets are ideal for use in electronics manufacturing, for covering displays, and suitable for low-dust or cleanroom environments.
The mechanical workability and thermoformability of the PC-120 ESD polycarbonate sheets enable versatile use in the production of protective devices, machine covers, conveyor belt covers, enclosures, in fixture and testing equipment construction, and for transparent shelves. Their high impact resistance makes them particularly suitable for transparent protective devices.
Physically, the sheets are characterized by a density of 1.2 g/cm³ and a water absorption of 0.15%. They meet the B1 fire class according to DIN 4102 and have a Vicat softening temperature of 148°C. Electrically, they offer a dielectric strength of 35 kV/mm and thermally a maximum short-term temperature resistance of 135°C.
The sheets are standardly delivered in packaging units (VPE) of 4 pieces, with each sheet covering an area of 2.4 m². Please note that for orders that do not include complete VPEs, additional packaging costs of 25 Euros will be charged.

PC-120 ESD Polycarbonate plates

PC120 ESD polycarbonate plates have a surface coating on both sides providing a permanent electrostatic dissipation. The surface resistance RS =105- 108 ohm fulfills the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1 for surfaces in ESD protected of EPAs (Electrostatic discharge Protected Area). Charges can be reliably dissipated. The existing surface resistance does not lead to a sudden discharge and sparking. The dissipative surface causes less dirt and dust.

This makes the PC120 ESD polycarbonate plates suitable for all applications in the electronics manufacturing as well as for covers of displays. The PC120 ESD polycarbonate plates are particularly suited for low-dust rooms or cleanrooms.

The PC120 ESD polycarbonate plates are heat moldable and mechanically workable. They are suitable especially for transparent protective devices due to their high impact resistance.
