Makrolite 4K, a powerful imaging solution ideal for challenging inspection routines. Makrolite 4K provides high definition video images with a wide dynamic range and up to 330x magnification.

Versatile solution - ideal for a range of applications

Makrolite 4K is easy to use delivering both versatility and high performance. Suitable for industrial and life science sectors including production, lab research, R&D, micro assembly, quality control, inbound/outbound product checking, dissection and re-work. The wide dynamic range of 4K resolution is ideal for reflective subjects, for example solder joints, subjects in shadow, or subjects with low contrast, such as rubber and plastic. Combined with a wide range of objective lenses and stand options, Makrolite 4K is a flexible solution to your specific inspection needs.

Stand alone or PC based systems
Choose Makrolite 4K as either a stand-alone system operated using a console, or as a PC system with software camera control and annotation/measurement capability.

Option 1: Console control version
The console configuration provides direct HDMI connection to the monitor for live display with full control of zoom and all camera settings. An option to enable 4K image/video capture to a USB drive is also available.
Camera controls include:

• Zoom. 20:1 zoom ratio, with magnification range 3x to 330x
• Autofocus and manual focus
• Aperture, exposure (AE, AP and ME modes)
• Gain, white balance, image flipping

Option 2: PC control version
Connecting Makrolite 4K to a PC with our dimensioning software, ViPlus, extends its capabilities to include image capture, annotation, on-screen measurement, data/image report generation and a range of image processing tools.
ViPlus software offers:

• Control of camera settings
• Image capture in JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFF formats
• Annotation tools, including markers and measures
• Measurement tools such as distance, angle, diameter, area
• Import of CAD files for inspection
• Image processing such as colour inversion, shape detection, focus stacking, overlays
• Generation of reports in Excel and other formats

Data sharing
Share 4K images, videos or reports with colleagues, suppliers, customers and regulators easily and instantly across networks. The option to save images and video to a USB drive is also available with both the PC and the console configurations.
