DimensionOne Software

The DimensionOne software from Vision is an advanced documentation and measurement software specifically developed for the EVO Cam II, Mantis, Lynx EVO, MHD, LynxEVO SmartCam, and SX series systems. This software enables easy image capture and effortless insertion of labels and markings directly on the monitor or touchscreen. Users can adjust image transparency to achieve highlighted or subdued labels, improving readability.
The full touchscreen support simplifies operation and makes the software particularly user-friendly. An included calibration template aids in calibrating circles with diameters of 1.0 mm and 2.5 mm, allowing for precise dimensioning and measurement. The software is also available in multiple languages, with options for English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, thus offering wide applicability across different geographic regions.

DimensionOne Software

DimensionOne is a software for capturing images and labeling and dimensioning them directly on the monitor. It can be used with all camera-based stereo microscopes from Vision Engineering. Extremely simple operation via self-explanatory “icons”, without complex menu navigation, allows the fastest image creation and processing.

 

  • Easy image acquisition
  • Easy insertion of labels and markings
  • Calibration and simple dimensioning directly on the monitor or touch screen
  • Image transparency (highlighting or attenuation of applied labels from 0 to 100%)
  • Full touch screen
  • Calibration template supplied enables calibration on a 1.0 mm and a 2.5 mm circle (diameter)

Image capture

Still images can be captured either with a click of the mouse or by touching a compatible touchscreen monitor. The user-friendly interface is clearly structured and designed for fast results. Intuitive operation enables efficient operation without the need for extensive training.

Image captioning

The software supports the creation, editing and adjustment of image captions and markers. All relevant parameters (e.g. position, size, color, transparency) can be adjusted to precisely supplement image information.

Measurement & dimensioning

Measurement functions are available directly via the user interface and enable the on-screen measurement of geometric elements such as lines, circles, points, angles and distances. In addition, advanced measurement functions are available, e.g. for determining intersection points or the distance between circle centers.
