The ESD Micro Torque Screwdriver 1460 from Wera is a precise tool specifically developed for torque-controlled fine screw connections. This model is ideal for use on electrostatically sensitive components found in smartphones, cameras, or medical devices. The screwdriver meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and offers an electrical surface resistance of ≤ 109 Ohm.
With a length of 131 mm and a torque range from 0.02 to 0.06 Nm, which is preset at the factory to 0.035 Nm, this tool enables precise settings for consistent torque values. The handle of the screwdriver is designed to prevent rolling and features a rotating cap for quick turning movements. The integrated rapid-turn zone and the power zone with soft zones support high tightening torques without additional effort.
The bit holder is compatible with 4 mm Halfmoon and HIOS drives, making the screwdriver versatile. The bit fixation is quick and secure through an automatic locking mechanism. To change bits, simply slide the sleeve forward. Additionally, a free-spinning operating sleeve ensures easy handling during the screwing process.
