The advantages of Lynx EVO:

• Unique 3D imaging (stereo) - the user can look around the subject from a 34° angle (improved 3D view/depth perception)
• a natural view of the subject - ambient light falls into the eyes, as the user may sit back from the eyepiece
• suitable for eyeglasses - due to the eyepiece-less optics users do not need to remove their glasses (or safety glasses)
• protection against cross-infection and sample contamination - as there is no direct contact between user and eyepiece/front lens
• ergonomic working position - much more comfortable an less fatiguing working  
• freedom of head movement - providing the user radial and axial freedom of head movement when working 
• Excellent hand-eye coordination - sitting back from the viewing lens allows the user much better peripheral vision
