The KNIPEX 7803140 ESD side cutter is specifically designed for precise cutting tasks in electronics and precision mechanics. This tool is characterized by its exceptional ease of use and light weight, making it ideal for radio technicians, industrial electricians, and other professionals. The blades are made of high-quality, stainless steel and offer extraordinary cutting precision thanks to a hardness of approximately 54 HRC and a special bevel-free grinding technique.The pliers have a length of 140 mm and are equipped with a safety spring and an opening limit, which facilitate operation. The ESD-safe handles protect sensitive electronic components from static discharge. With a head thickness of 9.2 mm and a jaw length of 12.3 mm, the side cutter also enables precise cutting of wires from Ø 0.2 mm.
The additional 15 mm length of the latest version increases stability and cutting performance, which is particularly advantageous when shortening cable ties. The side cutter is equipped with a stainless steel rivet, which makes the action extremely smooth and allows for fatigue-free working. A controlled micro-edge offset protects the blades and extends the tool's lifespan.

Extremely sharp cutting edgesThe Knipex Electronic Super Knips are made of surgical steel (INOX steel). The cutting edges are ground without a bevel for flush cutting. The burnished versions are made of tool steel.
Thanks to the precisely machined tips, even fine wires, e.g. on housings and components, can be cut precisely.
