The ESD side cutter 3884, manufactured by CK, is a highly specialized tool specifically designed for precise cutting tasks in microelectronics and precision mechanics. This side cutter is excellent for cutting soft copper wires up to a diameter of 1.3 mm and provides exact cuts on DIP pins on integrated circuits with its special cutting blades featuring a reverse motion.
The design with a micro-conical head allows better access in tight areas, while the sharp, precision-ground cutting edges ensure a clean, flush cut. The side cutter features a hardened blade made of special tool steel, ensuring lasting cutting performance, and electrostatically discharging handles that prevent damage from static electricity.
