Knipex insulated tools are made of high-quality materials according to the regulations of national and international standards. In compliance with the prescribed safety measures for working under voltage, e.g. DIN VDE 0105, EN 50110, IEC 60364, they offer maximum protection when working under voltage up to AC 1000V (alternating curring) and DC 1500V (direct current).
Knipex pliers with the two-colored multi-component handle insulation (red/yellow) meet the requirements of VDE 0682 part 201 and the corresponding international standards (e.g. EN 60900 or IEC 60900). The VDE / GS symbol shows that the requirement is confirmed by an inspecting authority committed to neutrality.

Nearly flush cut. Fine cutting edges. Suitable for soft steel wire, copper wire and cable.
With small bevel (facet)
Normal cut. Suitable for cutting hard and soft steel wires as well as soft materials such as copper wire and cable.
With large bevel (facet)
Suitable for cutting hard and very hard steel wires. Long service life.
Without bevel (facet)
Flush cut. Extremely sharp cutting edges. Only suitable for soft steel wires, copper wire and cable.
Without bevel flush (facet)
Flush cut for soft materials.
