It is made of a durable SBR rubber compound and stands out for its exceptionally high stability and load-bearing capacity—even when used with material-handling equipment or in applications where vehicles are driven over it. Compared to the VARIO variants, the focus here is on a functional, durable work surface without additional rotational dynamics. The mat offers reliable ESD protection in accordance with EN 61340-4-1, is slip-resistant and resistant to lying on, and is particularly stable due to its higher weight. Beveled edges reduce the risk of tripping, while easy cleaning and the material’s virtually odorless quality make it suitable for use even in enclosed spaces. The ergolastec® VARIO A expands on the classic concept of the anti-fatigue mat by adding a dynamic component. Made of high-quality NBR rubber and featuring the innovative RFLX underside structure, it specifically promotes micro-movements, thereby providing a stimulating, fatigue-reducing effect. Unlike the ESD dry, the VARIO A is characterized in particular by its surface that facilitates rotation, which supports natural movement patterns in the workplace and thus increases comfort during standing and rotating activities. At the same time, it remains slip-resistant and stable when lying on it, and meets all requirements for an electrically conductive ESD mat. The “A” variant also features a clean, uniform look in anthracite and is available both with and without the interlocking design.
