SCC 1500 Static shielding bag

The conductive metallized shielding bags SCS type 1500 “metal out” protect electronic parts and components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and prevent static charge on the bag, which could damage ESD-prone parts and assemblies.

The shielding bags differ in size within this product family.

They have the following common properties: 

  • heat-sealable
  • recyclable
  • Exterior - abrasion-resistant coating
  • Metallization - aluminized
  • Interlayer - dissipative polyester
    Surface resistance RS = 1010 - 1011 ohm
  • Interior - dissipatice polyethylene
    Surface resistance RS = 1010 - 1011 ohm
  • Electrostatic shielding <10nJ (Energy Test) 
  • Mulitlayer structure, transparent
  • Lead-free
  • High shielding against field induction, lowest triboelectrical charge
  • Controlled dissipation of existing charges without spontaneous discharge
  • Suitable for devices with disposable and rechargeable batteries
  • Side weld seam
  • Standard imprint: ESD warning symbol, type designation, recycling symbol and LOT no.
