HIGHSHIELD Shielding bags

The dissipative metallized HIGHSHIELD shielding bags protect electronic parts and components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and prevent static charge on the bag, which could damage ESD-prone parts and assemblies.

The bags have the following common properties:

  • heat-sealable
  • recyclable
  • non-abrasive
  • Exterior - dissipative polyester, surface resistance Rs = 109 - 1010 ohm
  • Metallization - aluminized 
  • Interior - dissipative polyethylene, surface resistance Rs = 109 - 1010 ohm
  • Electrostatic shielding of < 10 nJ (Energy Test)
  • Multilayer structure, transparent
  • High protection against field induction, lowest triboelectrical charge
  • Controlled dissipation of existing charges without spontaneous discharge
  • For devices with disposable and rechargeable batteries
  • Side welded seam
  • Standard imprint: ESD warning symbol, type designation, recycling symbol and LOT no.
