ESD Storage and transport

When storing, transporting and shipping electronic components, it is necessary to use special ESD packaging with a shielding or dissipative effect and to label it accordingly. In addition, the sensitive components must be protected from other external influences, including:

  • The formation of electrostatic charges due to friction and their uncontrolled discharge.
  • Mechanical stresses such as shocks or slipping.
  • Moisture effects.
