ESD Safety shoe Industrial Hugo2

The ESD safety shoe Hugo2 from the "Baak Industrial" series by BAAK combines excellent functionality with comprehensive safety features. This low shoe is made of robust cow suede leather and features a breathable textile lining. Safety is ensured by a steel toe cap and a textile puncture protection, while the slip-resistant PU/PU sole according to SRC standard ensures optimal traction.
The ESD compliance according to DIN EN 61340-5-1 makes the shoe ideal for electrostatically sensitive work environments. The insoles are replaceable according to the orthopedic standards DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, allowing for individual customization. Thanks to the Baak® Go&Relax system, the shoe supports proper bending of the foot, which increases wearing comfort even during long working hours.
In addition, the shoe offers antibacterial properties, is antistatic, and resistant to oil and fuel. With sizes from 35 to 48 and a width of 11, the Hugo2 offers a wide range of fitting options. The reflective applications improve visibility and safety in poor lighting conditions.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1PS
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible. Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.

Baak® go&relax is an innovative system designed primarily for people who wear safety shoes for many hours a day. It is based on three functional elements (asymmetrical toe cap, biomechanically optimized flex zone and biomechanical H-coupling element). In this way, it ensures healthy feet and relief for the entire musculoskeletal system.

Safety shoe Industrial Huge / Hugo2

The Hugo and Hugo2 safety shoes by BAAK from the “Baak Industrial” series combine functionality with the highest safety standards. The upper material is made of robust suede, complemented by reflective applications for better visibility.

The low shoes are equipped with a steel toe cap and offer metal-free penetration protection. The PU/PU outsole ensures slip resistance in accordance with the SRC standard and makes the shoe ideal for working environments that require ESD conformity (in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1).

In addition, the insoles are replaceable and meet the orthopedic requirements of DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, making them suitable for individual insole fitting. The shoe offers comfort and protection in demanding working conditions.
