The ESD safety shoe Sports, Per by BAAK combines high safety standards with the comfort of a sports shoe. This low-top shoe is available in sizes 38-48 and offers not only functionality but also style with its dark blue and red color scheme. The upper material is made of robust textile, complemented by a padded tongue and plastic toe protection, making the shoe particularly durable.The PU midsole and the textile-based, penetration-resistant protective layer provide additional safety, while the antistatic and ESD-suitable equipment makes the shoe ideal for work environments where electrostatic discharges pose a risk. The PU/PU outsole offers slip resistance as well as resistance to fuels and oils.
The innovative Baak go&relax technology supports the natural rolling motion of the foot, and the sandwich textile lining along with the ESD Softstep+ insole enhances wearing comfort. Reflective applications increase visibility and safety. The shoe is metal-free, making it also suitable for security areas at airports. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1PS
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.

The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
