ESD Safety shoe Sports Peter
The ESD safety shoe "Sports Peter" by BAAK is characterized by its high functionality and safety features, specifically designed for professional use. Made from hydrophobized cow nubuck leather and supplemented with robust textile inserts, the shoe offers an ideal combination of durability and flexibility. The reflective applications improve visibility in various work environments.Equipped with a steel toe cap and a metal-free penetration guard, the shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC ESD, making it a safe choice for various professional activities. The slip-resistant PU outsole promotes a natural rolling motion of the foot through its flex line and is also abrasion-resistant. For additional comfort, the removable Baak Softstep insole is provided, which is also suitable for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259.
Available in sizes 38 to 48 and in the color combination black/gray, the low shoe offers a standard width of 11 and a weight of 607 g at size 42. This shoe combines safety, comfort, and sporty design to meet the demands of modern workplaces.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
