ESD Safety shoe sneaker QS 500 white
The ESD safety shoe Sneaker QS 500 by Birkenstock in white is specially designed for use in EPA zones and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 class S3. This low shoe combines functionality with high wearing comfort, thanks to the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed, which optimally adapts to the sole of the foot and ensures continuous conductivity.The robust steel toe cap effectively protects the forefoot, complemented by a scratch-resistant toe protector. The upper material made of high-quality leather and the slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole, which is oil and petrol resistant (SRC), offer additional safety. A metal-free penetration protection increases comfort, while the replaceable insole made of cork and microfiber improves hygiene and adaptability.
Available in sizes 47-48 and with a shoe weight of 677 g at size 42, the QS 500 also offers excellent wearing comfort and support during long workdays. This makes it an ideal choice for technical and safety-conscious work environments.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
