The ESD safety sandal uvex 2 trend in Black/Red by Uvex is a highly functional choice for industry and crafts, combining high safety standards with wearing comfort. This unisex model is made from robust microvelour and equipped with an effective steel toe cap and puncture-resistant protection, offering comprehensive safety in hazardous work environments.
The sandal features a practical Velcro fastener that allows for quick putting on and taking off while ensuring optimal fit. The replaceable, cushioning comfort insole supports the use of orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191, providing additional comfort.
The slip-resistant PU/PU outsole (SRC) is particularly abrasion-resistant, enhancing the durability of the shoe. Moreover, the sandal meets the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P and DIN EN 61340-5-1. Available in sizes 38 to 52, this model offers a standard width of 11 and allows for special widths upon request.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.

Safety sandal uvex 2 trend

The Uvex 2 Trend safety sandal combines functionality with comfort and safety. This unisex safety sandal is characterized by its robust upper material made of micro suede and an effective steel toe cap. The sandal has a practical velcro fastener that makes it quick to put on and take off.
The PU/PU outsole offers excellent slip resistance (SRC) and is highly abrasion-resistant, which increases the durability of the shoe. The shoe is also classified as S1P in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2011 and complies with DIN EN 61340-5-1. The cushioning comfort insole is replaceable and supports the use of orthopaedic insoles in accordance with DGUV 112-191.
