The ESD safety sandal uvex 1 in black/yellow is a robust footwear, developed by Uvex to meet the highest safety requirements in industrial work environments. Equipped with a xenova® plastic cap and a practical Velcro fastener, this sandal allows for quick donning and doffing. The perforated microvelour upper material ensures optimal ventilation and increased wearing comfort.The sandal meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC, offers excellent slip resistance, and is also suitable for orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191. The cushioning comfort insole additionally contributes to comfort, while the PU/PU outsole provides secure stability.
Available in sizes 35 to 52 and in standard width 11, this model is suitable for both men and women. Special widths are available on request. The shoe weight is 525 g at size 42. This sandal is ideal for industrial workers who value safety, comfort, and functionality.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
