Ladies chelsea boot uvex 1 x-cite ESD

The ESD safety boots Chelsea Boot uvex 1 x-cite combine modern design with comprehensive functionality and safety for professional use. Made from soft, hydrophobic smooth leather and equipped with a breathable textile lining, these boots offer optimal comfort and are suitable for use in a variety of work environments. The 100% metal-free toe cap made of composite with carbon and the ergonomically designed polyurethane outsole guarantee high safety standards and excellent slip resistance.
Additionally, the boots are equipped with a flexible, textile puncture-resistant layer and a replaceable, antistatic comfort footbed. The shoes meet the safety class S3L and are ESD-certified, making them particularly suitable for electro-sensitive work areas. Available in sizes 34 to 44 and in the color black, they also meet the requirements for orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191.
The uvex 1 x-cite series, manufactured by Uvex, was awarded the German Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award in 2025, highlighting the high quality and appealing design of these safety shoes.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3L
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 4.5 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure), a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.

uvex 1 x-cite: Stylish protection - from the office to the production

Whether for meetings, production or outdoor appointments: This collection combines fashionable design with safety and comfort. Inspired by current trends and classic looks, the shoe models go perfectly with business outfits. They are ideal for everyday use - from the first coffee to the end of the working day.

The metal-free models in the uvex 1 x-cite series are ESD-certified, particularly lightweight and flexible.

They are made of hydrophobized smooth leather and equipped with a breathable textile lining. They also offer flexible textile penetration resistance. The toe cap, insole and insole are made from recycled materials. The models have a plastic toe cap with carbon and a polyurethane outsole with slip resistance.  

The internationally renowned award recognizes projects that drive innovation, take responsibility and create new perspectives through design. In 2025, uvex 1 x-cite was honored. The jury praised:
