Dissipative air bubble film 300 mm x 100 m three-layered
The three-layer conductive bubble wrap from EPApack, manufactured by DPV, offers effective protection for sensitive products with a width of 300 mm and a roll length of 100 m. This film is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, making it ideal for use in electronics manufacturing. The pink film has a thickness of 0.1 mm and is smooth on both the outside and inside, which allows for easy handling. The film is characterized by its dissipativity, with a surface resistance between 10^10 and 10^11 Ω and a maximum discharge time of 2 seconds. It is made from recyclable polyethylene and contains 5% recycled material. The durability is 3 years under optimal storage conditions, which protect against UV radiation and maintain a humidity of over 20% and an ambient temperature between 10 and 25 °C. This product is not only effective in its protective function but also supports sustainability efforts through its recyclable material and the printed recycling symbol LDPE 4.
Note on ESD measurement:
To obtain a reliable measurement result, the resistance measurement should be conducted without trapped air. Without cushioning, the necessary contact area of the electrodes on the material is provided, which delivers a precise measurement result. Measurements with air gaps can lead to deviating values.
