JBC Hot air stations
Hot air station - a tool for reworking all types of SMDs
Hot air stations heat up quickly and evenly to melt the solder and attach the component to or remove it from the PCB. Hot air is directed through the hose, enabling reworking of all types of SMDs.
JBC hot air stations allow precise control of temperature and airflow.
Desoldering process with JBC hot air stations
- 1 Positioning
Select the protection and stand that best suit the component. Activate the suction pump and move the extractor to the componentl.
- 2 Heating
While you heat the component, the surrounding elements are protected.
- 3 Extraction
Automatic removal of the desoldered components.
Personalize your soldering process parameters with JBC profiles
When working with profiles, the use of Rework Arms is essential.
Up to 25 configurable temperature profiles can be created and saved to avoid temperature shocks to specific components during the rework process.
Using a thermocouple type Typ K (thermocouple PH218)
Connect an external type K thermocouple and a TC to set either control or protection mode.
Control mode provides a high-precision control loop to automatically maintain the temperature of the external thermocouple (TC). The
protection mode is used to protect heat-sensitive areas or components. The station interrupts the air supply as soon as the TC temperature is reached.
Thermocouple type K is included in the TESE and JTSE stations.
