Use as a benchtop controller
Integrated interfaces enable the connection and control of solder fume extractors, preheating plates and programmable logic controllers (PLC) to the WX stations. The connected tools provide feedback on parameters and status to the display.
Safe manual soldering process
The Weller WX stations enable a safe manual soldering process, which is extremely important for industries such as automotive, aerospace and medical technology. This is guaranteed by temperature interlocking, tool interlocking and tool-specific temperature specification.
Intelligent tool recognition
All connected tools and accessories are automatically recognized by the stations and their designations are shown on the display.
Maximum safety with maximum flexibility
A unique potential equalization option is supplied free of charge. Four variants are possible thanks to the different circuits of the switch latch socket: hard earthed, potential equalization, potential-free and soft earthed.
ESD-safe
All WX devices are ESD-safe and can be used in ESD areas.
Enormous energy savings, usage sensor
Thanks to an integrated sensor, WX tools only switch on when there is movement. Energy is only consumed when the tools are actually in use. Connected additional devices are also shut down in standby mode.
Traceability
All WX stations are traceable and can be integrated into an existing traceability process.
Extremely short learning time
Multilingual menu navigation: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin. Other languages can be implemented on request.
Robot output
Standard digital and optically decoupled robot connection.

The robust touchscreen is a capacitive operating panel made of real glass. It is antistatic and temperature-resistant. The rotary click wheel with confirmation button enables intuitive operation.

External compressed air supply
The maintenance-free venturi unit generates a constant, powerful vacuum via an external compressed air supply. A separate compressed air supply is required.
Fastest desoldering iron
With 120 watts and an extremely short heat-up time, the desoldering irons can easily handle tasks that were previously difficult to solve, e.g. desoldering high-mass PCB boards.
No tedious cleaning
The new, extended nozzle shaft prevents the suction tube from clogging. As the suction channel is also replaced, tedious and time-consuming cleaning is a thing of the past.
Quick replacement
Thanks to a clever fastening system, the suction nozzle and tin cartridge can be replaced quickly and easily - without the risk of burns or complicated replacement procedures.
Enormous cost savings
The relatively low working temperatures (380 °C) and the automatic standby mode thanks to the usage sensor extend the service life of the suction nozzles threefold.
Pleasant handling
An ergonomically shaped soft grip with integrated finger switch enables efficient work. The small distance between the tin cartridge and soft grip prevents the tool from twisting in the hand.
Vacuum run-on
A vacuum run-on time can be set to prevent the desoldering iron from clogging.
Two models are available
The WXDP 120 can be used in a horizontal position, while the WXDV 120 can be used in a vertical position.
600 watts - unique
The WXR 3 is a 3-channel station with a total output of 600 watts. The multifunctional WXR 3 is suitable for all applications, all WX tools can be connected.
2 integrated pumps (self-contained)
Two integrated pumps make the system independent of external compressed air. A high-performance pump for vacuum and hot air and a stand-alone vacuum pump for pick-up tools.
User-friendly
All connected tools are shown on the illuminated LC display. Special functions can be set at the touch of a button.
WRK Reflowset
Enables soldering and desoldering of large SMD components up to 30 × 30 mm.
WVP Vacuum pipette
For moving components easily and safely.
Automatic / intelligent power management
The rework station offers 600 watts. The intelligent power management enables the available power to be distributed to the connected tools as required - with a total output of 600 watts. High-performance tools can therefore be operated simultaneously. Three channels with 200 watts each.
