Soldering tips (RTU series MS) for WXUP MS

The RT Ultra MS soldering tip series is designed for the WXUP MS soldering iron. The series includes high-performance active soldering tips for robust applications and large components (e.g. for multilayer boards, solar technology and LED soldering). They feature Thermal Core Technology, which ensures optimized maximum heat transfer.

MS soldering tips are MIL-SPEC compliant, i.e. they are used in accordance with MIL-STD-2000. In contrast to conventional soldering tips, they have additional insulation to ground, which prevents interference frequencies. As a result, they are often used for soldering tasks in the military sector. MS soldering tips are not compatible with conventional handpieces, but must always be used with MS soldering irons.

Weller offers 3 different tip technologies, the RTU MS series offers Active Tip technology.
