WX 2 supply unit

The Weller WX 2 is a digital 2-channel supply unit with a power of 200 W (max. 255 W). It allows simultaneous operation of two soldering irons and is compatible with all WX tools.

Features:

  • Integrated usage sensor for better energy management: Tools only switch on upon movement. Energy is only consumed when the tools are actually in use, otherwise they are powered down to standby mode.
  • Multi-functional USB interface for firmware updates, configuration and monitoring, as well as an interface for automatic soldering machines
  • Use as a benchtop controller: Integrated interfaces for connecting and controlling solder fume extraction systems and preheating plates, as well as for programmable logic controllers
  • Intelligent tool detection: connected tools etc. are automatically recognized and displayed on the screen
  • Secure soldering process thanks to temperature and tool locks and tool-specific temperature settings
  • Intuitive operation via a turn-click wheel with finger guide
  • Graphic LC display with backlight and multilingual menu navigation
  • Tool-specific parameterization via parameter memory in the soldering iron (e.g., automatic shutdown time, temperature)
  • The WX soldering irons heat up in a very short time and are ready for immediate use.
