The Weller WXsmart supply unit is a state-of-the-art, digital 2-channel soldering station with a total output of 300 W. It was developed to meet the requirements of modern soldering processes and offers maximum connectivity, traceability and safety.

  • All-in-one solution: The WXsmart acts as a central control unit at the workstation and consolidates all soldering applications in one station. It supports high-precision soldering (Pico), general soldering (Micro), high-performance soldering (Ultra), desoldering, rework and hot air applications and is suitable for components in sizes 0402 to 1612. In addition, the WXsmart can be expanded into a complete rework station in conjunction with the WXAir rework module.
  • Intelligent tools: The station automatically recognizes connected tools and offers functions such as visual process control, intelligent tool recognition and integrated memory for up to 10 individual parameter settings.
  • Benchtop control: As a central control unit, the WXsmart can control several devices simultaneously, including rework modules, solder fume extractors, preheating plates and calibration units, saving time, space and costs.
  • Fast heat-up time: Thanks to the active tip heating technology, the WXsmart achieves extremely fast heat-up times of up to 3 seconds, enabling an efficient and continuous workflow.
  • Flexibility and compatibility: The station is backwards compatible with all existing Weller WX soldering, desoldering and hot air tools as well as soldering baths and preheating plates, enabling seamless integration into existing workstations.
  • MAXIMUM CONNECTIVITY
    Maximum connectivity thanks to factory integration of all interfaces. This eliminates additional hardware costs.
  • FULL TRACEABILITY
    The complete traceability of the soldering process ensures maximum transparency, detailed process documentation, comprehensive control and improved quality of the end products due to fewer errors. By integrating modern IOT standards, all process data can be easily integrated into existing ERP systems and is transmitted in real time.
  • INTELLIGENT PROCESS AND TOOL CONTROL
    This centralized supply unit acts as the brain of the workbench and can control several devices at the same time (e.g. soldering fume extraction devices, rework modules, preheating plates). This smart controller with only 1 station saves space, time and money.
  • CYBERSECURITY
    The first soldering station with built-in cybersecurity. The use of TLS encryption and two-factor authentication (2FA) ensures a high level of protection against cyberattacks.
  • TOTAL PROCESS CONTROL (TPC)
    WXSmart offers comprehensive user management including password protection (PIN), which gives the administrator full control over individual user accounts and prevents unauthorized access. In addition, important parameters such as temperature, tool and tip locking (for smart tips) can be managed. This enables precise control of the entire soldering process (from the soldering tip to the station) and ensures greater process reliability and better quality.
  • INTUITIVE USER INTERFACE
    Weller's WXSmart features a completely new, highly intuitive user interface. With 4 quick wiping movements, the operator can easily navigate through the soldering stations, saving time and costs.
  • ESD SAFETY
    Only Weller offers a fully ESD-safe soldering platform. The patented 4.3-inch TFT color glass touchscreen is the only screen on the soldering market that is truly ESD-safe and heat-resistant.
