Workstation monitor Ground Man Plus CTC334

The Ground Man Plus CTC334 workplace monitor from SCS is specifically designed to effectively monitor the grounding impedance of workplaces, tools, and machinery. This device supports monitoring up to three connections against solid grounding and additionally allows the control of wrist strap grounding via a dual-wire wrist strap/grounding cable.
The continuous monitoring of grounding impedance is conducted on three separate channels, with the alarm threshold adjustable between 1 and 20 Ω. Status indicators are provided by green and red LEDs, and optionally by an acoustic warning signal that can be turned off.
Furthermore, the monitor offers a logical 5V output signal for further processing, which is active when the correct voltage supply is maintained and threshold values are met.
Included in the package are the Ground Man Plus monitor, a user manual, and a 120V/240V power supply. The recommended calibration interval is 12 months or as specified in the testing equipment list. This ensures reliable operation and accuracy of the monitor.

Workstation monitor Ground Man Plus

The Ground Man Plus monitors can be used to control the grounding impedance of workstations, tools and machines. The grounding impedance of up to 3 connectors against hard grounding can be monitored.
The Ground Man Plus monitor can also check the wrist strap grounding of a person with a twin connector wrist strap/grounding cable.

Control of the ground impedance
The ground impedance is continuously controlled on three separate channels connected with three instruments. The alarm threshold can be set between 1-20 ohm. It is the same for all 3 channels. The measurement is indicated by green (= OK) and red (= error) LEDs and an acoustic alarm signal. The acoustic signal can be turned off.

Output signal
It provides a logical 5V output for further processing. When all outputs are in the limit and power supply is existing, the output signal is logically 0 otherwise logically 1.

Monitoring of personnel grounding
The Ground Man Plus monitor provides an additional control of personnel grounding by a twin conductor wrist strap/grounding cable plug. The monitor measures the voltage of the person and the resistance of the wrist strap.
