PE foam, dissipative 253x153x3 mm

The electrostatically conductive PE foam from EPAstore measures 253x153x3 mm and is coated on one side with a thin layer. This material is characterized by its cross-linking and closed-cell structure, making it corrosion-free and abrasion-resistant. The typical surface resistance is 10^5 - 10^6 Ohm on the coated side and 10^7 - 10^8 Ohm on the uncoated side, thus meeting the requirements of the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The black PE foam interlayers are versatile, including uses as plug-in foam, interlayers, and partition walls for containers, as well as work surface mats. They are available in standardized sizes as well as custom cuts.
The material is made of polyethylene with a density of 46 kg/cm³ and can be used at operating temperatures up to 90 °C. These properties make the PE foam an ideal solution for technical applications that require reliable conductivity and durability.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable as interlayers for use in shipping, as workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
